"Equipping the next generation of servant leaders with a vision of the kingdom of God (Eph. 4:11-13)." Camp Mosaic is a weekend retreat to facilitate the development of the leadership skills for an emerging generation of Christian leaders and promote an appreciation for a multi-ethnic expression of the kingdom of God.
Reconciliation will be led by those who have a kingdom vision for the church and are willing to sacrifice and serve God's purpose in this ministry (2 Cor. 5:17-19; Rev. 7:9). This quality of leader must be identified, developed and deployed for this mission.
Because leadership development is not a one-time event but a long-term process, healthy support networks that provide mentoring, ongoing training/resources and ministry opportunities must be established to supplement the Camp Mosaic experience.
"Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve." Rev. Martin Luther King. Because greatness in the kingdom of God is measured by service, Camp Mosaic participants will be trained and encouraged to lead by service in their local churches, schools, communities and families.
