Our second "Extreme Impact Game" was a huge success! Many more kids will be able to come to camp this summer because of this fundraising game. A great day of fun and fellowship was had by all those who attended and helped make this an event worth attending. In the end, the Orange team outscored the Yellow team 28,500 to 23,350. Many thanks to all those who supported and volunteered for this camper scholarship fundraiser. See you all at our next one in May!!! West Coast Paintball Symposium

If you have ever thought of starting a paintball program or would like to take your existing paintball program to the next level, then come to the Christian Paintball Symposium. Alpine Camp & Conference Center and Pleasant Vineyard Ministries is now offering its paintball program expertise to other camps, churches and conference centers during a three-day intensive paintball workshop. Participants will learn how to start a program from the ground up, how to utilize paintball as an evangelical outreach, refereeing rules and regulations, safety precautions, paintball tactical strategies, paintball marker repair, night games, scenario games, paintball devotionals, Speedball setup and tournaments, Woodsball field setup and development, hands on training on how to run a large, all-day scenario tournament, and how to answer the question "How can you be a Christian and play paintball?". Each participant will receive a paintball manual that will equip them on how to run a Christ-centered paintball program that can draw thousands of kids and adults to their facilities and will allow you to recoup your Paintball Symposium fees with the first big game or program you host. Paintball is considered one of the safest and fastest growing sports in the U.S. and is attracting both youth and adults from all walks of life. The Christian Paintball Symposium will instruct your camp or church on how you can utilize this sport as an evangelistic tool to reach countless individuals. Paintball is a game of strategy, teamwork and leadership. It's not how big you are or how strong you are, it's not what kind of paintball marker you use, it's about developing your self esteem on the playing field and learning to be a team member.
Lessons learned on the field will apply to everyday life and your own spiritual growth in Christ. It is a time for you to have fun, make good friends and become prepared for the challenges of this world.
The Scriptures speak of the importance of keeping unity in the "church body" so that we will be able to stand against our opponent, the devil. The Body of Christ is like an army fighting against an enemy whose goal is to lie, steal, kill and destroy anyone who opposes him (John 10:10). Just as the body is made up of many parts, so is your paintball team. Each part of the body relies on every other part of the body to function. If one part of the body does not do its job, then the rest of the body may suffer. Each member of the team must work together as a unit in order for the whole team to function properly.
